Scholarships

Cumberland Good Samaritans offers scholarships that cover books and tuition
to low income individuals, with special emphasis on recent high school
graduates. Our School Supplies Program can provide necessary class materials.
Our Scholarship Partners: The agency works with the local high school
counseling department, Adult Education, Work Force Network, Tennessee
Technological Center and Roane State Community College for program referrals.
Successes: Many scholarship recipients have obtained
Associate Degrees, learned job trades, earned GED’s, or obtained better paying jobs. Others have
gone on to earn
their bachelor’s degree at institutions across
